We could walk to Jonker Street night market, and our room stayed pretty quiet despite being so close. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was excellent, and the rooms felt clean, spacious and modern. There’s a lovely lobby and common area too. We even brought back food from the market one night and ate at the downstairs tables. Some connecting rooms may have slightly thin walls, but it wasn’t a big issue.

The kids were happy hanging out in the lobby at night and swinging on the two hammocks. I was especially impressed by the hotel’s concept, location, cleanliness and staff service. The Jonker Queen and Jonker Twin rooms turned out larger than they looked online. If you need adjoining rooms, make that request, since the booking site didn’t mention or show that option. I was glad the hotel grouped all seven rooms we booked on the same floor and arranged some adjoining ones. Breakfast was decent too.

The free breakfast is filling enough, and there’s a water dispenser by the lift to top up before heading out. The rooms were adequate, though ours was right beside the road and we heard vehicles coming and going. The hotel is well placed for exploring the busy area. I wouldn’t stay right on Jonker Street, since getting back during the weekend night market could be a real hassle.

The room was spacious, and the new hotel has a clean, contemporary look. Staff were friendly, and it’s only about a minute’s walk to Jonker Street. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, though the hotel provides earplugs. There’s no parking at the moment, and breakfast is simple.

We booked five nights in a queen room and then extended our stay, getting 50% off the extension. The location is good, and the place is clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came late in the afternoon, so ask them to come earlier if that suits you better. Breakfast wasn’t impressive and the menu could use some work for guests. Weekends get busy.
