The Wave Residences

TOWER B UNIT B-22-02. There were cockroaches, leaks in the washroom and kitchen, and a really bad smell throughout the dirty, uncleaned house. The TV had a problem too, and there was no Wi-Fi.

The two pools were a good size, and there was reasonable space for the price. Inside, though, the bathroom was small and smelly, and the place was infested with cockroaches. The bedrooms had no fans, proper nightstands, dressing tables or wardrobes.

Food is within walking distance, and our host responded quickly. But both units we tried had the same disgusting drain smell in the toilets, and it reached the rooms and living room if the door was left open. The first unit had a clogged toilet, so we moved to another floor and found the same smell, like passing a dead drain. There was a sewage smell along the corridor too. The drainage pipes and toilet ventilation need attention. The curtains were dusty, so we didn’t turn on the fan. The first unit’s toilet was clogged, and we moved floors but still had the smell. I won’t book here again. Bali Residence is cleaner.

The owner gave us the wrong unit directions, saying level 12, but someone was already inside when we went there. Luckily they understood and weren’t angry. Our unit was actually on level 23. The house itself was uncomfortable and needs a lot of work. Both beds were nearly broken and noisy, the sofa was almost broken, and the blankets and pillows were dirty and unwashed. The toilets were dirty and rusty. The heater didn’t work and felt dangerous: when I turned it on and opened the shower, the light kept going on and off, then came on properly after I switched the heater off. The dining chair was damaged, the kitchen had no scissors or knives, and only one small garbage bag was provided. This was our first and last stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it until the owner replaces the appliances and fixes up the house. Please take responsibility for the service. We paid for it!
