The room was simple and clean, with fresh sheets and what we needed. The bathroom wasn't my favorite, but it did the job. A few side lamps would make the room cozier than having only ceiling lights. We booked this inn at the last minute on 22 Sep 2025 as a stop before heading to the jetty the next morning. The location was convenient, parking felt safe, and we slept well. The night staff member, whose name I didn't catch, was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. He made check-in smooth and put us at ease after a long day of travel.

The staff were quick to respond on WhatsApp and helpful with anything I needed. They also sell ice cream in the lobby for 2.70 MR. It was a great one-night stay, and I'd highly recommend Mersing Merlin Inn. The only drawback was the 28-minute walk from the bus station and Mersing Harbour, so I had to take Grab. See you next time!

Mersing Merlin Inn saved us when a problem with our first hotel booking left us looking for another place at 10:15pm. The staff were welcoming, and the comfortable room had a nice big bathtub. It made the stay memorable. Recommended!

The pool and beach views were nice. The place is older, but it's still well maintained. A perfect place to stay, highly recommended.

From the third floor we could see the sea and mountains in the distance. We slept really well here, and waking up to birds chirping was lovely. The room and toilet are basic, but the place felt grounding. Thanks for keeping it up. Guests can hang out and bond over carom, table tennis, badminton or the swimming pool. We'll make use of those next time.
