We saw a price of Rm168 on Google and planned to stay, but when the owner realized one person was a Matsaleh, he suddenly asked for rm200. We left on principle. If we'd booked through Booking.com, he would have had to accept our reservation. The three-bedroom place looked great, but the owner's greed drove us away, and he ended up with nothing.

The house was spacious, clean and tidy, and it worked well for our big family trip. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the price felt worthwhile.
