I know it’s a budget hotel, but they should at least keep it clean. The toilet seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned, with mold and a bad smell. My bed was broken, the toilet flush didn’t work properly, and the broken lamp made the place feel like a horror movie. I paid RM 80 for a walk-in three-bed room. The price is understandable for furniture in that old condition, but cleanliness should come first. Thank you.

You can book online or walk in, and walk-in seemed cheaper than online. This is a very old hotel and hasn’t been well maintained. The photos on the booking site don’t match what it’s like in real life. They were probably taken a long time ago, when OYO took over the hotel. There’s a lot of mold on the ceilings. The Wi-Fi and TV didn’t work, some plugs and lamps were broken, and the furniture was very old. The air conditioner was noisy. My room smelled, though luckily it had a window for fresh air outside. The toilet bowl seat cover was broken. The top level, which isn’t open to the public, seems to have shut down, and they only operate levels 1 and 2. On the plus side, there are plenty of parking spaces, it’s near Public Park Miri (upper hill), and the hot water worked.

I wasn’t happy with the room condition. The air conditioner didn’t work well, and there was an unpleasant toilet smell when I entered. The bedsheet and pillow were dirty, and the room was a bit dusty.

It’s okay for the price range. The only thing is the bed feels quite soft, even though it’s a spring bed, and your body sinks into it.👌
