The host was quick to respond and accommodating, and booking was easy. The place feels modern, stylish, very clean, and comfortable, with a low number of rooms. The location suited us, outside the city centre but still not too far away. I loved how simple the remote app control was. The water heater in our room wasn't getting very hot, perhaps it needs a maintenance check, but it wasn't a big problem. I'd absolutely recommend it if you're in town.

Kak Yati deserves a mention for being so friendly and helpful. Her English is limited, but she clearly does her best to assist. Check-in was smooth, and the hotel is about a five-minute drive from popular places to eat. Parking only fits around six cars, and there's an auto door opening system. We had a pleasant stay at Alivila Hotel. The room was a good size, with room for two luggages, and both it and the toilet were very clean, which matters a lot to me because I'm fussy about toilet cleanliness. Check-in requires a RM100 deposit. Comfortable stay, and I'd return if I'm in Muar again.

There's plenty of room for everyone to relax or spend time together, thanks to the large living room, and extra beds make it easier to fit more guests. Alivila is spacious and nicely designed for group stays or gatherings. The clean, well-kept space has a modern but cozy feel, while the outdoor area and rooftop give it a refreshing touch. A comfortable, enjoyable place that I'd recommend.
