I was left without a place to stay late at night, when almost all the hotels were fully booked. The stress and anxiety were unbearable, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. My trip was completely ruined. I had a confirmed reservation through Booking.com, but when I arrived late, the front desk told me coldly that it had been cancelled and the hotel was full, with no room for me. I never got any cancellation notice, by email or message. The booking had been valid and confirmed before I arrived. I contacted Booking.com right away. Customer service clearly said the hotel was at fault for not holding a room for my reservation. But the front desk blamed Booking.com and claimed the platform had cancelled it in the system. I found that dishonest and unacceptable. If you value your safety, time, and peace of mind, do not book here. A confirmed reservation clearly means nothing to them.

The room’s small, with the bed right in front of you when you open the door, and the toilet is inside the room. I’ve stayed at cheaper hotels with better accommodation. Still, it’s good value for a budget place, with plenty of parking and quick service. I’d choose it again next time, especially when travelling solo.

I stayed two nights for a business trip. The room was fine, very basic, and the place is easy to reach from the main road. The Wi-Fi was slow. Parking can be quite limited on some days. It’s a walk-up, so bear that in mind if you’re bringing an elderly person.

Clean, and you can easily ask for items. You get a comfortable sleep and a bath, which is very good for an under-budget hotel.

We decided at the last minute to spend the night in Muar, and this was the only hotel available at the price I was willing to pay. I liked that it was far out and quiet. The room was too small, though, and the walls weren’t soundproof, so I could hear people talking. One of the locks was broken. I also noticed the shower head was too close to the water heater. That seemed dangerous.
