Budget Beach Resort

The owners were really helpful and nice. It’s now called Ai Beach Resort and has been renovated. The rooms are simple but pleasant, with modern air conditioning, a fan, and a shower with good pressure. You can also rent a motorbike or use the laundry service.

We were within walking distance of the beach, places to eat, and hornbill feeding, so the location worked really well. We stayed two nights, and the room was clean with good water pressure. The owners have changed the name to ai beach resort. They got in touch to ask about our ferry schedule so they could switch on the air conditioning before we arrived. There’s a pantry, a laundry area with a washer and dryer, and a massage chair. An iron and ironing board are available in the common area, and they also offer motorcycle and scooter rentals with petrol. Everyone was very welcoming.

The owners and staff were so welcoming that I’d happily stay here every time I come to pangkor. The room, toilet, and sheets were all clean, and it felt good enough to be more than just a budget place. There’s a basic pantry and laundry in the lobby, with clotheslines behind the chalets.

The location was great, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. Our room was tidy and clean, with enough space for us to rest at night. For a family with a child, the Cuckoo and beach toys they provide are handy. It’s an affordable hotel with good rooms and facilities.
