The guesthouse is close enough to walk to restaurants, which is a great location. But cleanliness was an issue: I found dust and dirt beneath the duvet, and the sink faucet was hard to turn off. I also had to remind them about the refund, which took more than a week.
We booked the Rantissi Suite and Studio Rantissi, and both were tucked away at the back. My earlier stay was okay, so I booked again for this KL trip with my family. This time was really disappointing, and I won’t be back. There were BIG cockroaches in the apartment on arrival. One room’s ceiling fan didn’t work, and the aircond wasn’t cold until I complained and someone came to fix it. The iron was broken, amenities were sparse, and basic things like shampoo and rubbish bags hadn’t been refilled. The room was extremely dusty. I asked staff for Ridsect and a mop, but nobody came back. The WiFi didn’t work at all either 🥴 At night we heard weird noises and someone knocked on the door, which felt eerie and uncomfortable. My brother got sick with a fever after that incident. The parking on level 3 was dark, with the lights off, and felt even scarier at night. I still haven’t received my refund. Definitely not returning, I’d recommend booking somewhere else 🫥
The lift was out of order for two days, so we had to climb the stairs to and from a high floor. That was especially inconvenient for elderly guests, and the repair seemed to be taking a long time. We stayed from 18 to 20 October 2025.
We weren't told about the cracked flooring in the apartment until we arrived around 7 pm. Then they said they couldn't give us the room. The customer service was bad, and they hadn't let us know earlier.
The apartment was spacious and had a great view of the twin towers. It's a handy place to stay when visiting KL, with a great pool and gym. The neighborhood is mostly Muslim and very central.
