Kesuma Villa Exclusive Stay Near UTHM Batu Pahat

There was no staff around to contact for help because check-in and checkout were done through lockers. I’d booked the family studio, their most expensive room, for five nights, and had to pay four days before arrival. By the time I saw the room, I couldn’t cancel or complain. The shower pipe was blocked, so I stood in a pool of water every time I showered, all five nights. The room looked okay at first, but there was dust in every corner and spider webs. The curtain had insect eggs in several spots. Mosquitoes kept showing up even with the air conditioner set to 16 degrees. Maybe the water containers and pipe problems behind the house had something to do with it. A Target wholesaler supermarket is beside the room. The stretch there was full of garbage, and employees’ motorbikes kept running, making noise until 11 pm.

We stayed for three days and two nights. The room was comfortable enough and had a mini fridge and water boiler for making drinks. With a supermarket right beside the hotel, it was easy to pick up snacks or anything else without driving. The shower looked very modern, but there was no hot water. They didn’t make the bed or top up the coffee and tea sachets during our stay. Sometimes there wasn’t anyone at reception.

I was in room 4, right by the trash area. It wasn’t collected for two days, and stray dogs came over and made a mess. Maybe that only happened on those days, I don’t know.

The room was very dirty, with lizard droppings. I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. Please check rooms before customers arrive. I paid for the stay, it wasn’t free. The pillows provided weren’t enough either.
