The Canvas Hotel

The bedsheet made me itchy, but when I asked for it to be changed, I was told they wouldn't change it and that the detergent was the reason. If they know the detergent is causing a problem, why insist on leaving the sheet as it is? The receptionist gave no greeting or eye contact either. Really horrible service.

The room has enough space to be comfortable, but not enough for a Muslim to perform prayers. For work travelers, there's a table where you can use a laptop comfortably. Across the road is a mall for food, leisure, and an ATM if you need cash at the last minute; an MRT/LRT station is across from the mall too, making it easy to get around Klang Valley. One snag: Grab drivers often misunderstand the location.

I deeply regret booking Canvas Hotel. I made the reservation through Agoda on October 18, 2025, but at check-in the receptionist said there was no email or booking confirmation, so they couldn't give us a room. It was already late, and I was with my two children; we ended up waiting in the lobby until midnight, exhausted and sitting there for hours. Staff told us to call to speed up payment from the third party, while Agoda said the booking had been made through the Booking platform. It was confusing and tiring, and the hotel staff showed no sympathy for us waiting there with the children.

A handy spot for an outstation stay or short trip, with Aeon Bukit Tinggi within walking distance.
