Tanjung Point Residences

The sea-facing unit had a magnificent view, and on a quiet night we could hear gentle waves on the beach. We stayed on the top floor, around level 37, at Tanjong Point Residences from 6 Dec till 8 Dec 2025. Simply marvelous! Nadia, Aiman, Margaret & Ain provided exemplary service that went beyond customer service. Well done, and keep it up!

I checked out on 3rd Dec after booking 3 days and 4 nights, and was very satisfied. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and there's a myNEWS downstairs. The sea view is beautiful and the location is good. I'd highly recommend this place for a visit to Penang.

The room was okay and the location is pretty good, close to the beach. But at checkout, two people just stared instead of helping me. I called reception for a bellboy, and they told us to get our own trolley because that service was no longer available. I don't know if they treat other guests the same way.

The bed is really short, even an average-height person will have their legs hanging off. The entrance door faces a busy road and lets in so much noise, it feels like cardboard and like you're sleeping right on the highway. The bathroom is small, with only a curtain separating the shower, so water gets everywhere. Still, I liked the apartment and thought it was worth the price. The studio was spacious and clean, with a beautiful sea view, a swimming pool, and private beach access. The calm sea was great for relaxing, and the building's restaurant served tasty Spanish food. There's not much entertainment in the area, but it suits a quiet, peaceful stay, and I'd happily stay longer.
