The breakfast choices are limited, though what they serve tastes good. Otherwise, I had a commendable stay and found the room quality, comfortable mattress and dependable Wi-Fi suitable for work to be good value. The hotel is right by a tube station, so getting to the city center is easy. I’m puzzled by the negative feedback.

The location was great, parking was easy and the Wi-Fi was fast. My room was clean and had a lovely scent, and the stay met my expectations.

I was there for three weeks on business, and the room problems just kept going. After the first room, I was moved to a corner queen on the sixth floor with windows, which seemed better at first. Then it turned out the AC was faulty. Even at full blast it stayed sultry, and in the evenings it took two sweaty hours to cool down. My colleague had the same problem. The bidet leaked constantly and left a cold puddle in the middle of the bathroom. I reported these things repeatedly at the front desk. They kept saying maintenance would come on a certain day, but nothing happened. When I asked to move again, I was asked whether I wanted Wi-Fi or AC, since rooms at the back had better AC but poor Wi-Fi coverage. They offered the same room one floor down, but only after the guests left. I asked for a fan so I could sleep properly, and for extra laundry bags. Both requests were noted and ignored that evening. The front desk staff are polite, but ultimately no help. The first room, a single on the first floor, was a claustrophobic box barely bigger than a cargo lift. Its only window was a 30x30cm square high up in the bathroom. There were scuff marks all over the walls, especially beside the bed on the headboard, and the toilet smelled musty. The original white grout had black growth on it. Be warned.

The rooms were stuffy and had no windows, and the air conditioner leaked and smelled bad. The lift doors often got stuck too. I also saw staff lying down and sleeping in the breakfast area while guests were eating, and they were often absent from reception. I paid an RM100 deposit and never got it back. Others have apparently been tricked the same way. The staff seem to count on foreign guests having trouble chasing the money after they return home. The whole experience felt like a serious scam. Don’t stay here.
