Pinnacle Studio - Heart of Petaling Jaya

The room was clean and nicely maintained, with a nice view. There was quite a major renovation at level G during my visit, but it was handled properly and didn’t disturb the visitor experience.

We stayed in one of the apartments, which uses an open 2 studio concept that may not suit everyone. The stairway up to the loft is steep and has open risers, though each apartment has 2 bathroom cum toilets. The open-plan kitchen is well appointed, free wifi is good, and the large glass frontage gives superb city views. The condominium complex is about 30 floors high, next to the new Sheraton Hotel and the Fderal Highway, opposite the PJ Hilton. Despite the traffic-heavy highway, it’s surprisingly quiet indoors. Getting in and out means navigating a maze of raised access roads. Residents and the public can park on the lower floors. On the ground floor there are several restaurants, cafes, and a Japanese supermarket, handy for residents and visitors.

My friends were staying here because Armada Hotel was fully booked, so I came by to visit them. Their room looked cool, and you could see across Selangor with a little of Kuala Lumpur in the distance. The lobby also looks luxurious, and the toilet and bathroom were very clean and clearly well cared for. This is one of the biggest hotels in Petaling Jaya city, close to Hilton Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Armada Hotel, with Sheraton Hotel the closest. It’s in a busy city area and near CelcomDigi Tower too. Events sometimes happen nearby, like at Armada Hotel, and if there’s no room there or it’s full house, people can stay here or at Sheraton Hotel. Love it and hope I get to stay one day. There’s not much inside apart from a Japanese goods convenience store, and walking out is inconvenient since the shops are a bit far. Driving in is confusing too. The entrance and exit are awkwardly positioned among twisted roads, which could be a horror for some drivers.
