The price was cheap, but the room was musty and seemed already used. There was hair in the bed, and the bathroom smelled strongly of pee. The pillow was awful and left me waking up with neck pain. Things were falling apart and the walls need paint. I wouldn’t stay again.

The location is great, and the lobby looks nice, but the rooms badly need renovation. Ours had no window, chipped paint, poor cleaning, stale cigarette odor, and mold spots across one wall. Staff refused to move us at first; after several calls to the owner and a lot of persuasion, they finally changed their minds.

It’s in a shophouse, close to the beach, though swimming isn’t possible there. Restaurants, a convenience store, and the transport terminal are all within walking distance. The rooms are on the first and second floors. Most have no windows, apart from the larger family rooms at the front and back of each floor. It’s clean, but could use refurbishing.

I stayed in room no 1. The toilet wouldn’t flush, so I fixed it myself. Also, the toilet door wouldn’t shut, the window handle was broken, the aircon was pretty noisy, and the towel was thin and torn.

It smelled a little and wasn’t very clean, and the soundproofing was poor. I sprayed my own sanitizer over the mattresses and bedsheet.
