The room was unhygienic, with mold on the shower curtain and a musty smell. The carpet was stained, wallpaper peeling, and the furniture outdated. The air conditioning barely cooled the room, and a faulty window let in constant irritating noise. At check-in, the front desk staff were unhelpful and left me waiting a long time. The restaurant was slow and inattentive, and the food was mediocre for the high prices. The pool had leaves and debris in it, while the gym equipment was old and in poor condition. I also heard loud disturbances late at night and saw guests lingering in the hallways on several occasions, which made me concerned about security. This stay at Hotel Vevo Puchong was frustrating from start to finish. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing stay.

We left disappointed and wishing we'd had a more pleasant stay. Noisy neighbors, musty smells, poor cleanliness, and little help from staff were all part of it. The breakfast buffet was overpriced and unappetizing too.

The bathroom has a glass wall and door, with curtains you need to pull across for privacy. The beds sit on platforms less than a foot off the floor, and there aren't any chairs or a table. There's a long surface for putting food and belongings, but you have to sit on the raised floor to use it. The wardrobe is open concept. The room has Japanese-style decor, and the price felt a little high.

The location is really convenient, with banks, marts, restaurants and pubs nearby. I found Hotel Vevo good value for money, with reasonable rates for a boutique hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean the Premium King Room with window was. The decor is simple and modern, the bathroom is large for a boutique hotel, and the bed was comfortable. If they keep the rooms in their current condition, Hotel Vevo will be my choice when I'm in the Puchong area.

A decent spot for a short stay. The boss was friendly, and the housekeeping and front-of-house staff were well mannered. The walls are really thin, though. Soundproofing is bad enough that you can hear someone showering next door.
