The host greeted us warmly, and the house came with three rooms, an attic, two toilets, proper kitchen equipment, and Astro Njoi. We also found a 'private' river down below, though it takes about a five-minute hike down to reach it. Mount Kinabalu looked breathtaking from the house. Nights got pretty cold, with the temperature dropping to 12c during my stay. There were lots of flies outside the balcony, which was the one downside. Would I return? For sure!

The view from the house was marvellous. When the sky was clear, we could see the pinnacle of Mt Kinabalu very clearly. The stay was very good apart from some things that need maintenance: the door key lock, dusty floors and room, and the toilet flush tank. I’d also suggest adding a few basics such as a microwave oven and toilet tissue.

The balcony view is the real highlight, and the hospitality was good too. It’s in a handy spot, very close to Desa Dairy Farm, one of Kundasang’s primary tourist attractions, with good places to eat and restaurants nearby. There’s also a walkway down to the river. It needs some repairs and maintenance, though I can understand that after the long mco period. A nice place, and recommended.

The early morning view was priceless. It’s a cold area, and the rooms and cleanliness were just okay.
