That balcony was easily my favourite part. I could sit with Milo and watch the sunrise, spot the peak of Mount Kinabalu, or look at the stars later on. A little farther along, the morning light on the mountain is amazing. The kitchen had enough utensils for us to cook most of our meals. There are two bedrooms, a living room, one small toilet, a BBQ area, and a balcony with a view. The toilet seat sits lower than usual and nearly tripped us a few times, and the key doesn't work properly. At least there's warm water, which is enough for me. It's a short walk to see Mount Kinabalu in all its glory, and the nearest market is a quick drive away. For me, this place does the job as somewhere to sleep and rest. It has its flaws, but that was enough.
