I booked two nights but left after the first and found somewhere in town. I won’t return. This didn’t feel like a hotel to me, more like a six-room homestay or inn, with no TV, no 24-hour front desk, and a lack of security. There were no other guests or staff around when I was there, and the dim lighting made the place feel creepy. Karaoke downstairs was noisy. The room and back entrance had insecure locks, with no latch locks on the inside. There was no toilet paper until I asked, and no shampoo. The bathroom door had a hole through which someone could see me sitting on the toilet from the bed. The shampoo and soap dispensers didn’t work, and the contents looked like they hadn’t been changed in a long time. It wasn’t worth the price.

We stayed for a week and brought our own laundry detergent, but the owner wouldn’t let us use the washing machine. The dorm room’s blanket was thin, and we were still freezing under it. The white towel didn’t absorb water at all, so I had to dry myself with my clothes.

We booked through Agoda the day before, but when we arrived the next day, the staff said we couldn’t check in because the hotel was closed for a Christmas event. It was very inconvenient to look for another place, since nearly all the hotels were full for Christmas and the school holiday. The hotel was irresponsible and put us through a lot of trouble.
