I can’t recommend this place. The room I was given smelled awful, and after I complained the second room smelled horrible too. Staff tried putting air freshener in it. When I switched on the AC, cockroaches fell out. There were still cigarette butts on the bathroom window, so I can’t say the room was clean. I wasn’t comfortable there, even though I stayed only a couple of hours.

There’s an elevator, a supermarket right across from the hotel, and a pub next door. The Fire Station is about 800 meters away. You can get there by public transport, and it’s a strategic location for people with a car. Finding a nearby restaurant in the evening and later can be difficult, though. The room was nice and the rate was cheaper. There’s a limited choice of TV channels, free parking with spaces on a first-come basis, and a MYR50.00 cash deposit is required at check-in.

The room was clean and well equipped, and for the price that was impressive enough. I picked this hotel because I had things to sort out near the hospital. It’s close to the hospital and still not too far behind IJM area. Parking is the main drawback, and finding a spot takes some luck.
