I booked at the last minute and got an Executive Double Room. There was decent space for two, and the hotel supplied towels, basic toiletries, and a kettle, though no tea or coffee. The air-conditioner clearly hadn't been maintained: its filter was packed with dust. The front desk staff member wasn't friendly.

The room's tap was loose, and the air-conditioner blew hot air with a dusty filter. The lift was noisy and jerked as it moved, and it sounded poorly maintained. With thin walls, I could hear it and people passing by. The hotel feels run down, and the staff didn't make me feel welcome.

This is my honest review. I left my charger at AB Hotel in Johor Bahru and spent two days trying to reach the staff. At first nobody answered my calls, and today they've blocked my number. They were unhelpful, and getting my belongings back was difficult. For the price, the hotel wasn't worth it. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I arrived late at night and had to wait a long time for someone to assist me with check-in. The room was awful: the air-conditioning blew hot air, so there was no AC, and no water came through the heater. Terrible experience.

The location is very close to Senai airport, which is the reason I stayed. The staff weren't friendly before check-in, and it felt like I was asking them a favor by paying for a room. Our aircon looked old, the bathroom door wouldn't close, and the bedsheet had a stain. It reminded me of 'Strangers from Hell' if you've watched that drama. Maybe okay for one night, but I definitely wouldn't stay for long.
