The front desk staff were friendly and polite, but everything else left me disappointed. Water stayed in the basin instead of draining until morning, and I couldn't adjust the AC, which made the room uncomfortable. Breakfast was miserable, with little flies around the bread and salad. Compared with the Sofitel era in the 1990s, this stay was a total letdown.

It's quiet at night, and the location works well for an overnight stay before flying from Senai Airport. The room was spacious, the bathroom and bathtub were big, and water pressure was fine. I didn't use the tub because it wasn't clean. The mattress also bothered me, and I started itching the next day. Breakfast was a buffet, but the choices were sparse: Nasi Lemak, magii goreng, an egg station, bread, pao and coffee. The food tasted off too. There's plenty to improve.

Breakfast was a mess. Large groups crowded the same section as regular guests, food ran out quickly and took ages to replenish, the scrambled egg queue never got shorter, and we even had to share tables. Our so-called PREMIER ROOM didn't meet the standard either. There were ants and mosquitoes, a stained bedsheet and a toilet bowl so bad I couldn't sit on it. The tissue box in the toilet was taped up, a down light was missing and left a hole, and there wasn't even a towel, as if the room hadn't been prepared or used in some time. The new system removed the room phone, but there was no QR code in the room to contact reception or complain. I went to reception the next morning; they told me to scan a QR code and complain, but after I did, no one came to explain what was going on. We used to have a pleasant stay here, but this trip was a nightmare. I won't return or recommend it if they don't fix these problems. It wasn't worth the money.

There's lots of parking, and the hallway has a small water dispenser as well as the bottled water in the room. I've stayed several times, usually for business, and the staff have been helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and it can still be a peaceful spot for a short stay. But the rooms need an upgrade: the toilet lighting was dim, the room lights mixed white and yellow on one switch, the tub looked rusty or possibly had holes, and water came through holes in the shower besides the shower head. Tiled hallways also let you hear everything outside your door. For a leisure trip, I'd look at other options, though there aren't many in this area.
