Che Beach House

The rooms were bright, clean, and roomy, and Chris was especially helpful. He kept checking whether we needed anything, which I appreciated because that kind of attention isn’t common in Malaysian accommodation. The sea is always audible here, and the house sits right beside it, with its own little stretch of beach. You can take it in from the sand, the deck hammock, or the upstairs balcony with its big, comfortable chairs. It’s about 10km outside town, but there are small restaurants nearby, so you’ll still eat well. I’d recommend it for a quiet, relaxing stay. When we arrived, I was tempted to just stay put and go nowhere else.

We booked three rooms for four days, and each had its own toilet. Everything was clean and well kept, and the cosy house made the whole family comfortable. We loved our time at Che beach house, especially relaxing outside by the bbq. It’s a lovely getaway for families, and I’d recommend it to couples too. I’d definitely come back.

Getting around takes some planning: you need transport to reach the nearest food stall, unless you order from Food Panda or Grab Food. Google Map and Waze both point to the opposite side of the road, even though the house is actually right by the beach. The beach itself could be cleaner, and I wish there were a TV in the common area, since the house has the other facilities. It’s a clean, spacious beach house and even suitable for disabled guests. There’s an iron and ironing board in the upstairs common space. I’m not sure if the washing machine works, as it’s kept in a wooden crate on the porch.

The sea view and landscape were awesome, and the house was beautiful, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. Loved everything about our stay. Perfect location, an absolute gem. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
