Our trip to redang was so fun, and this place made a good homestay base at a reasonable price. The room was neat and clean, and the place itself was lovely. One issue, the pillow seemed a little dusty smelling, and after I left I had a lot of acne on my face. The small fridge also didn’t work very well and could use a check. Apart from those things, everything was okay. 💖💖

Friendly staff and clean rooms made this a really good place to stay in town. It’s just a few minutes from Merang Jetty, handy for a night before going to Redang Island the next day. Booking a Grab is easy too. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at Villa Wanie Cottage, behind Villa Wanie Inn, to unwind after a daytrip to Redang Island. It was comfortable and felt safe, and there’s a swimming pool for kids.

The room was fine for the price, and the location worked well for where we needed to go. But the customer service really let us down. I’d asked over WhatsApp during booking about checking out late, and we were prepared to pay the extra hour charge. I reminded the receptionist again the day before, then once more that morning. Still, the Villa called asking why I hadn’t checked out because another customer was waiting, and the same receptionist knocked on our door to tell us to leave. I was very disappointed, especially after reminding them three times. They need better communication and professionalism. I’d wanted to leave a great review, but that’s what happened.
