Roxy Hotel Sri Aman

The room was spacious and basically okay, but dusty. At night I could hear loud sounds from the room above. I was also disappointed when I asked the receptionist for an iron: she told me to find one myself, then said “if there is any.”

The room was very clean, and the toilet was large. It would be even better if there were an exhaust fan in the toilet.

This was the filthiest hotel I’ve stayed in. There were black spots in the shower area, and the body wash had been watered down so much that it was too diluted. The room was dusty and had no remote control, so I had to ask for one. An extra towel costs Rm5.

We stayed in February, and I had expected better from this Roxy branch. The receptionist should have checked whether the room was ready before handing over the key. Our first room was a mess and looked like someone was still in it, and the hallway smelled awful. We asked to change rooms and were sent upstairs to a separate building. The staff seemed confused, and getting there was awkward and very inconvenient: we had to carry our bags from reception across a busy cafeteria and up the stairs. The area around the front entrance was also really dirty and smelled terrible. It wasn’t a good experience, and I definitely won’t return.
