For the premium price, the buffet at Geno Hotel Shah Alam was a letdown. There were just a few choices: rice, one chicken dish, one beef dish, one fish dish and three vegetable options. The desserts were mostly cakes that looked different but all tasted the same. The coffee machine was out of order, leaving lukewarm coffee and tea in thermoses. The food and service don't justify what they charge. Management should take this seriously, because shortcomings like these will leave customers unhappy. My lunch experience today was a 1/10.

Felt ripped off. The pool was under renovation, but that wasn't mentioned online, and my room had no bathtub. Guests also pay RM8 each time they enter the car park. The room was very plain, like something from a sketchy two-star hotel. Seriously, I wouldn't recommend it. Only stay if you absolutely need somewhere to sleep and have no other option.

There isn't free parking, and you pay each time you drive in, even if you come and go several times a day. There's no flat rate, though parking continuously tops out at RM8. I had to pay multiple times because I needed to travel around town. The staff were friendly. Miss Priya kindly let me check in before noon since the room was ready, even though I arrived a little early. I was tired after driving from Singapore to KL, and she could tell, so I just rested on the sofa. The staff were helpful throughout.

En Mamanur made our meal at Geno Hotel Café especially enjoyable. He was friendly, attentive and professional, and made sure we were looked after. Thanks to him for such warm hospitality.

I usually stay at Acapella Hotel, Concorde Hotel and Mardhiyah Hotel when I'm in Shah Alam, and they don't charge their guests for parking. Here, guests are charged RM8 every time they enter, which makes no sense to me. Go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and that's RM24 in parking for one day. That greedy, absurd policy is enough for me to comment on. There are plenty of other hotels in Shah Alam for potential guests to choose from.
