Putra Heights New Wave Hotel

The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated their service. At the reception, though, one female staff member was extremely rude and showed no respect to customers. She never smiles or speaks politely. She asked me to change rooms. I clearly said I didn't want to, and even offered to pay extra if necessary, but she still spoke harshly and disrespectfully. I felt very uncomfortable. I've never been treated like this at a hotel before. I ask management to look into it seriously, because this behavior could make customers stop coming back.

I paid RM70 for the room but wasn't given a receipt. When I asked for one, the receptionist said I had to collect it at the counter. I went there and saw she'd written it and left it on the counter in front of her. I told her she couldn't just leave it for me, so only after I asked again did she take it back and hand it to me. The receptionist was rude. Management should also check why the water being sold has different prices.

I've stayed here regularly for years and usually choose a ground-floor room. But on my last three visits, daytime noise from the receptionist has made it really hard to rest. She's often on the phone, speaking and laughing loudly, and rarely smiles. She comes across as angry and as if guests don't deserve respect. The reception team used to be polite and professional. I hope management looks into this, because regular customers may stop coming if it continues.

Really disappointing reception. We weren't greeted or smiled at, and the receptionist didn't even look at us while speaking. I don't understand why a hotel would hire someone who treats guests this way. Wouldn't recommend it.
