OYO 43954 Hotel Casa Reo

We spent one night here during a recent 2D1N trip to Bagan Lalang, and had a pleasant stay. It’s a simple, affordable spot that works well if you’re just sleeping over or passing through. There’s nothing fancy, but the basics are covered: a clean queen bed, quiet cold AC, a TV with basic Astro, a tiled bathroom with a water heater, good room ventilation and lighting, and simple wall decor. The owners are a local couple, and there’s also a friendly lady on staff. There are lots of CCTV cameras inside and around the property, plus a grill at the front door, so it felt safe. It’s best suited to one or two adults. Trying to fit a whole family into one room would be miserable for you and could disturb the people next door.

The room is small, but fair for the price. The toilet is cramped too, and its sharp edges could be dangerous if you have kids, so be careful. The bed was really itchy. Maybe beach sand got in because of the nearby beach and it wasn’t cleaned properly. My son and I got rashes on our backs. If you need space to pray while sitting, this place may not work for you. I pray sitting down, and my husband had to pray on the bed. Everything else was great.

A lovely, clean place in a great location. Coming back to the room felt peaceful, and the staff were wonderful. The beds were very firm, more than I like, but the hotel is well maintained and the room had a nice atmosphere. I’d definitely stay again. 👌👌👌👌

This works as a low-budget place to rest and sleep. It has what you need, including free Wi-Fi and an iron with an ironing board, which is good news for the ladies 😉. The bathroom is very tight, though. We’re not very chubby, but my sister still bumped into the wall twice 😂. The “living room” is shared by guests from nine rooms. Staff were friendly, the place was fairly clean, and it met our needs. Thanks.
