We had booked a deluxe room for two nights, but Lucky Hotel gave it to a walk-in guest. I called at 4:00 PM on the first day to say we'd arrive late, and was told that was fine because Agoda Online said check-in was available 24 hours. My husband and I got there around 5:00 AM, then waited about 30 minutes while a staff member kept calling her boss to explain that we had arrived. Only then did we learn our room had been given away. After checking with her boss, the rude counter aunty loudly told us to take a small standard room for the first night instead. During check-in, they cancelled our booking without telling us. Maybe they wanted it to look as though we had cancelled and there was no room, so it wouldn't be their fault. Even though they made the mistake and downgraded us, they charged the same amount as for the deluxe room. We were exhausted and had to work in the morning, so we stayed at the same hotel. Shame on you, Lucky Hotel!

The room and toilet were dirty and old, and the hotel fell badly short on basic cleanliness. The water heater didn't work, the water pressure was very weak, and the bed described as large was actually very small. They don't offer drinks or food, and there's no convenience shop nearby. My honest advice: if you want a comfortable place to stay, don't come here.

This small budget hostel occupies the upper floor of a shophouse and has only a limited number of rooms. Mine was fairly small for the price, though it did have air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a TV to relax with. Check-in was quick, but they charged me 10RM for being a foreigner even though I had an iKad. There were cockroaches in my room. It works for a night while travelling north.

The room was small and dirty, and the water heater didn't work. I'm very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place. Trust me, you can find a better hotel. That's my honest advice.

No soap was provided, though there was a water heater for the shower. The room is okay if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. You get what you pay for.
