Rock Wood Hotel

The hotel has a classic, calm feel, and otherwise everything was good. The only downside was the lack of privacy because the rooms aren’t soundproof. A couple next door were arguing, and we could clearly hear them in our room.

There’s no lift, so keep that in mind. The bathroom was spacious, but the heater barely worked and the sink pipe leaked. The room itself was okay, and there’s plenty of parking, with TF value mart and a few places to eat nearby.

The room was very clean and reasonably priced, with a huge washroom, a nice shower, and a really comfortable bed. Both cold and hot water were available. You may smell cigarettes in the corridor since the smoking area is close to the rooms. Soundproofing is only okay, so when it’s quiet we can hear almost everything outside. The TV has local channels only.

This was my first and last stay. I picked the hotel because it was the cheapest near Hasani Pre-Marriage Course. Some polices and Jaiz knocked on my room door at night, and it was only my door. I thought the receptionist who served me had reported me and assumed I checked in for xxx business. It was so shameful that she didn’t confirm with me before calling the police. I agreed with the sharia regulations here, but fitnah is also prohibited. For safety and comfort, this hotel gets zero from me. 🚫
