SP Central Hotel

We won't book this hotel again. The room for 3 pax wasn't satisfying, and at around RM150 per day, I'd recommend taking a homestay instead. I was a little late checking out and planned to pay for an extra hour. At 12:30 PM, the electricity in our room cut off, possibly because of a timer. Nobody from the staff called to ask whether we wanted to extend. We had no choice but to pack in the dark. When I asked reception, he said he didn't know the rooms had a timer, which seemed funny to me. The aircond was awful. It took about 2 hours to cool the room, which is about 300m.sq. I believe the owner only wants profit, not achievement.

The area felt safe, and it was good value for money. It's right next to the KTM train station, check-in was easy, and the staff were super friendly. The room was quiet with a nice bed, and an iron box was available.

The room was very clean, thanks to the room service team, and they even left a clean sejadah at the floor entrance. There was soft instrumental music that made it feel like a luxury hotel 😊. The receptionist was friendly too. I booked a superior double room because I needed a window, and having a lift to level 2 was great. A couple of things could be improved: the mirror felt cheap and was hard to look into, and the room lighting was too dim.

The main problem was the noise. The soundproofing was terrible, and it seemed like a washing machine or some other machine upstairs was running from 4am into the morning. I couldn't sleep at all, which seriously affected my stay.
