It’s a brand new hotel from the T+ Hotel chain, but only the rooms were ready during my stay. The lifts, lobby and outside front still needed renovation. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious and nicely renovated. The TV was a good size and the toilet was nice. The water heater didn’t work very well, but it was okay, and the air conditioning was cold and worked well. There’s a small fridge in the lobby selling fresh cow milk, which was really tasty and pure 👍⭐️. The area felt a bit dodgy, with many shops being used as warehouses. Still, it’s only about a 3-5 minute walk to the centre of Sungai Petani Old Town, where there are lots of shops and places to eat. Highly recommended 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel seemed new when I stayed, though it looked like some finishing work was still going on. I had a problem with the air conditioning in my room and hope they’ve fixed it. There are eateries nearby and it’s easy to get around. The hotel sits in a back alley, with some homeless people around, but I didn’t feel threatened by them. I just felt sorry for them.

The bed was comfortable, and you can tag using Grab. But one of the two rooms we checked into was completely unclean, so we had to move to another upper floor. The parking area was near a garbage disposal spot. There were homeless people sleeping by the parking area, and when it rained they stayed in the lobby, which made the place feel unsafe. A nearby swiftlet house was noisy. There’s no elevator, and the staircase is steep and narrow for carrying luggage.

The toilet was dirty and clogged, the water heater didn't work, and the air conditioner wasn't cold.

The place was new and clean 👍. My room was on level 2, and there was no lift. The location was good, just a couple of minutes' walk from the KTM station 🚉.
