The front desk guy was friendly. Neither of us had small change, so he lowered my deposit from RM35 to RM25. Parking was open in front of the entrance when I got there around 8 pm. I was heading back to Teluk Intan, but flash flooding in Sungkai delayed me, so I stayed the night. The windowless room with a queen bed cost RM85. It had basic amenities, towels and bar soap, but no toothbrush, toothpaste, or glass. There were five Astro channels on the TV. The shower pressure was good and the air conditioning was cold. The bed was comfortable, though the pillow was too soft and the blanket a little small for two. There was a cupboard and a small dressing table, but the cupboard blocked access to the next room, which wasn't locked.

The staff member was helpful and let me switch rooms at midnight, which was the one good thing. The first room had no sound insulation at all. I could hear the next room's phone vibrating, and the noise went on until 2:18 am while I'm writing this. Worst of all, bed bugs left my whole body itchy. In the replacement room, the air conditioner was noisy, and the pillows smelled in both rooms. Payment wasn't refundable, so I had to put up with this low quality hotel.

Room 202 is the best option, with a window facing the main road. This is a decent budget hotel for a one night stop. It faces a Chinese cemetery, in case that's useful to know. They take cash or bank transfer only, and the deposit is RM30.

The staff on duty were friendly, and the price was reasonable. The room had enough space for luggage and for me to perform solat. The bathroom was clean and a decent size, and the air conditioning was very cold. There's no drinking water or kettle listed among the room amenities, though the management should include those. The KIBLAT direction sticker needs to be checked and corrected.

There are restaurants nearby, but early in the morning the only places open were fast food spots like KFC and 7-Eleven. My impressions of the staff varied depending on who was on duty. Still, the place was clean and comfortable, and I was happy with my stay.
