Kimal Hotel Kamunting

The towels and pillowcase are a little old, but still acceptable. Otherwise, it was fine, and the room and toilet were clean. They provide basic things like towels, mineral water and toiletries. Staff were polite and helpful. Check-in is available around the clock, and you need an access card to get through the hotel's security door.

I liked the hotel and thought the service was excellent. The receptionist was professional, spoke in a lovely tone, and was very hospitable. The room was clean and had plenty of space for prayer. They also provided Spritzer mineral water, which is a pricier brand than some others. One thing to keep in mind is that the bathroom walls are frosted glass, so you can still make out people's shadows. That might feel a bit close if you're staying with friends, though other rooms may have a different layout.

The room was tidy and had no unpleasant smell, which matters a lot to me. It was my first time here, and I was impressed that the Malay male staff member had turned on the room's air conditioning before I checked in late, around 11-something at night. I'd recommend this hotel. I hope the price becomes more competitive in future since we travel regularly, haha.

The room and toilet were clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. The in-house Wi-Fi signal was weak, unfortunately.
