There was a damp, mouldy smell as soon as I walked into the lobby, and the room smelled musty too. The air conditioning wasn't cold enough, and some units didn't work properly, so I had to ask to change rooms. This hotel needs a serious renovation, or it may as well close.

There's plenty the hotel could improve, especially the service. On my first day, I asked the front desk why there was no TV, and was told, "You booked the cheapest room so that what we provide". I was tired, so I didn't get into an argument and just asked for housekeeping. I'm mentioning this because better service would make guests more willing to stay and enjoy their time. My friend who stayed there and other customers have had similar feelings, as far as I can tell. Take the good feedback too. Take care, and thank you.

I really enjoyed staying here. It's calm and relaxing, the staff are good, and the room was nice. Lake garden, the food court, and the zoo are all nearby, and you can walk to them. With everything so close, I'd definitely recommend it.

The location is the one good thing, very close to Taiping's main attractions. I booked during a busy festival weekend and had no other option, but staying here was probably one of my worst decisions. The service was poor, with just one staff member looking after guests. Our family delight room was cramped and smelled bad, and it wasn't cheap either.

I paid rm160 for a queen bedroom, and it wasn't worth the high price. There was mold everywhere, and the room was the worst I've seen. The pictures on Google, booking .com, trip.com and trivago looked so good, which made the reality a terrible experience. This hotel needs renovation, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
