Getting into the room took a long time because nobody was at the counter. There was no one there at checkout either, so I left the key on the counter. Our room was on level 3, and there’s no lift, just stairs. There was no soap or bin in the room. The shared bin was out in the corridor for several rooms, and the only iron was on level 1, so I had to go down from level 3 to iron my clothes. The TV didn't work, and the bathroom door wouldn't lock.

The sheets and shower curtain were dirty. We waited 15 minutes for checkout, but the receptionist never showed up. We left at 9am without getting our deposit back. They either didn't understand English or chose not to answer our questions.

The area has a nice vibe, with plenty of convenience stores and places to eat. The place is okay if all you need is somewhere to sleep before heading out.

The host agreed to refund our cash after we asked to leave and moved to another place, but the property never updated Booking.com. Two days later I was charged a 250 MYR "no show" fee. I only spotted it on my card statement, with no warning. The host said nothing could be done and took no responsibility, then raised his voice at me. I’ve had to spend time contacting Booking.com by phone on an international call and by email. We paid 250 MYR for a room we never stayed in. We left because the room was disgusting. There were cockroaches, including one that crawled under the bed comforter, and we stomped on two more. When the host showed us the room, he immediately stomped on one and seemed to hope we hadn't noticed. There was mold on the ceiling, leaking faucets, and stains and holes on the sheets and pillows. Do not book here.
