Norman made the stay feel special, and The Rustique is both comfortable and well located. It's simple, but has lots of thoughtful extras: earplugs, flip flops, a light breakfast, a peaceful games area, a discount at a local coffee place, and useful local advice on hiking and tourism. We took a tour Norman recommended and loved it. There's a lively backpackers bar nearby, so evenings can be noisy, though it quieted down around midnight. The earplugs helped. We'd happily come back.

The guesthouse is basic, clean, and practical, with a simple breakfast included. It's also handy for hiking trails, Indian restaurants, and the bus terminal. Norman was one of the kindest, most considerate people I met in Malaysia. I booked a tour from a flyer at the property, and other travellers told me they paid more because their accommodation added a commission. A nice bonus. All the best xx

If you're visiting the Cameron Highlands, I highly recommend The Rustique. Norman is a lovely host, the beds are comfortable, and the amenities are clean. Breakfast is basic, and there's a scooter rental right next door. Shops and places to eat are close by, and the bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. It has everything you need.

Norman, who manages the place, was humble, caring, and always helpful. The cozy, home-like feel reminded me of my kampung. Whenever I'm in Cameron, this is the place I choose. Keep it up, and add more rooms!

The rustic house has its own charm, so don't come expecting a five-star hotel. Everything was very clean and there were lots of amenities, plus a complimentary simple breakfast. Norman was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Highly recommend!
