Hotel Scholar's Suites

The food was nice, mainly local dishes, though there weren’t many choices. During peak season or when an event is on, they could expand or open another buffet counter. I stayed briefly for work seminars and found it quite good for a business trip. The accommodation was fair, the room cleanliness acceptable, and all the room equipment was in good condition. Thanks.

I hope management considers proper training for the staff. On my last day, while I was having breakfast with my colleague, one staff member was rude and unreasonable and treated us like kids. It was very bad service and spoiled our final day. There was no extra blanket available either, as they said they didn’t provide that service. I stayed about 7 nights on a business trip. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, just ala kadar saja, and the price felt high for the service we received. I hope things improve in future.

There’s a nearby bowling alley for going with friends or family, and the breakfast buffet has a decent range of standard Malaysian dishes. From outside, the hotel looks presentable, like a standard hotel. Parking is convenient, and there’s a small swimming pool and mini playground.

Being right inside UPSI made this a really handy place to stay for campus business, and I don't think there's a better nearby option. The water pressure was good and the shower got hot. My TV wouldn't work, though I couldn't figure out how to use it. One staff member said their iron and board were locked together, making them hard to use, but mine weren't locked. There was one spare pillow in my room, so I wish they'd leave two. Breakfast starting at 7 was much too late for me. Apart from that, it was an okay stay.
