My king-size room was spacious and nice, and the woman at reception was friendly. There’s a water dispenser with free drinking and hot water, plus two bottles of water in the room, which was good. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the city center near the Leaning Tower. It does get noisy at night from outside.

The room was okay, but the air conditioner smelled musty. At over RM60 a night, it wasn’t even cheap.

I booked through Agoda, but at check-in they demanded another TTX payment of 10 MYR. I told them I’d already paid, but they said I couldn’t stay without paying again and wouldn’t refund me. I was charged twice. Make sure you get a receipt.

The room is clean and works very well for holding a SPIM course.
