The staff were kind, welcoming and helpful, which I really appreciated. The campsite itself has potential, but the services fell short. There was nowhere to buy refreshments or even water, a real problem for a backpacker without a full supply of groceries. The nearest village is quite far, and a taxi costs around 500 MZN, which is excessive for basic supplies. The men's toilet was leaking, and cleanliness needs attention. I'd give it 2 out of 5. It doesn't look like a well-run campsite that's aiming to raise its standards.

The rustic camp was a lovely place to stay, and I loved Inhaca. The comfortable chalets have great showers, with strong pressure and hot water. It's an easy walk to the beach and close to the village market, little shops and restaurant.

The resort was clean and natural, just the sort of peaceful retreat you'd hope for, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We had a very nice time on Mozambique's island of Inhaca. Getting around is the catch. Without a vehicle you're stuck, since you need one for almost everything. Prices are also much higher than the European average, so the stay is expensive overall. Still, for peace, nature and a special place, this is the spot.

The beds were especially comfortable, and the rustic décor gave the place charm. Even visiting in winter, the atmosphere felt cozy and inviting. Food was a highlight, with fresh fish and shrimp cooked perfectly, plus a hearty, generous breakfast that started each day well. From booking until I got home, I felt welcomed and at home, thanks to the attentive staff and their warm hospitality. Special thanks to Zito, Henriques, and Vongane, who were always kind, available and ready to help with a smile. Staying at Manico Camp also gave me the chance to explore Inhaca, including a breathtaking trip to Ilha dos Portugueses, which is an absolute must-see. Manico Camp is a chef's kiss kind of place. I'd recommend it a thousand times to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful escape that refreshes the soul.

The view from the place is fantastic, and Eric was the real highlight. He works behind the bar and organizes everything for you, and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. My friend and I stayed a few days in a twin room. It was basic, but had everything we needed. Keep in mind you'll need a 4x4 to get around the island, though Eric can help with that.
