The food had plenty of variety and was really good, and the whole place made it easy to unwind. Namushasha River Lodge feels special without being formal about it. The staff were warm and attentive, happy to go out of their way, and it all felt natural. The lodge is comfortable, well kept, and thoughtfully laid out. Its riverside setting is peaceful and beautiful, with nature and birds all around. Waking up to the river and watching boats pass was a lovely part of the stay.

The lodge has a breathtaking view, and with some luck you may spot hippos, elephants, or crocodiles. The restaurant food was fantastic and high quality. It’s also a great campsite, with private bathrooms.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were beautiful, though cockroaches were roaming around. It would have been nice to have Doom or something in the rooms for a peaceful sleep. The nature walk is worth doing, but ours felt rushed. We were hurried through the forest and the guide walked quite fast, so there wasn't time to slow down and enjoy the sounds of nature. The buffet was disappointing for the price and didn't feel worth it. I’d still recommend the lodge, but the food quality needs work.

The sunset was lovely, and the restaurant itself was very nice, but dinner at 545 Namibian dollars felt too expensive for what we could eat. The staff seemed very unemotional and offered little information, so we had to keep asking things from them. For one night it was okay, though the food was overpriced for us, and we've stayed at better Gondwana camping2go sites. We spent a night in the Namushasha camping2go tent. It had the usual Gondwana setup and a nice river view, but the tent was a little aged and the zips were stiff. The neighboring tents were also very close, so we could hear everything from next door.

We had a spacious campsite with a private ablution. The afternoon game drive was amazing, and our guide Rector was really friendly with incredible vision. We saw lots of elephants and monkeys, and even a leopard!
