Jane and Dawid’s are such wonderful hosts. The rooms and breakfast are both 10/10. It’s quiet and cozy here, and after three stays, this has become my go-to place in Otjiwarongo.

We stayed just one night while travelling to Etosha National Park. The room was perfect, breakfast was great, and it’s a beautiful guest house. The hosts were lovely and even drove us to Avis the next morning so we could get the car.

The owner shouted at me over breakfast charges and threatened to call the police if I left without paying extra. My wife and I were stunned by how aggressive and confrontational he was. We had politely pointed out that our Safarinow reservation clearly included breakfast. His wife, by contrast, was a lovely, kind lady. After travelling through Namibia many times and staying at all sorts of lodges and B&Bs, this is the only place I’ve ever given a negative review. That says enough about this establishment. I can’t emphasize this strongly enough: do not stay here. The man who owns it has no idea how to provide hospitality and should consider another line of work.
