Inside the gates, the atmosphere is generally attractive, and the rooms are fairly spacious for the price. Each has a reading desk, chair, mirrors, TV, and fridge. The front desk is friendly, but room service is inefficient. Staff promise to come when there’s a problem but don’t fix it, whether it’s burnt or poor lighting, pipes left in the bathrooms, or missing or nonworking TV and AC remotes. Towels and toiletries aren’t provided unless you ask every day, and they say they forgot to leave them. The pool area is noisy in the evenings, and loud music until daybreak on weekdays makes it hard to sleep. It’s on the Karu side of the FCT and can feel like a getaway, though the access road is broken and difficult, and the area is congested and noisy.

I paid for one night but couldn’t stay because water was leaking from the AC and there were lots of insects in the room. When I tried the bathroom tap, I got an electric shock. I thank God I’m alive. Everything is too expensive for such poor upkeep. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever visited. Please improve the maintenance.

There’s an outdoor pool table for passing the time, plus screens for entertainment. The lounge and open air bar are nice, with plenty of outdoor seating arranged in several ways. They serve different drinks along with barbecue fish and chicken, and there’s a suya spot outside the premises.

The rooms are below standard and the place is filthy, so I wouldn’t recommend it unless you don’t mind that. The staff are welcoming, which is why I gave it two stars.
