I couldn't wait to leave. When the driver my sister sent arrived with my box, bag, and shoes in their bags, we passed through a kitchen area where staff were watching Arsenal vs PSG on a wall TV. We went toward reception, stepped outside, and loaded the rest of my things into the vehicle. The staff watched us go without shame, and only the guard came over to us. A three-night booking turned into a stay of just a few hours. I had to ask siblings I hadn't wanted to bother to get me out after about 2-3 hours. I couldn't believe this was the same place my brother and I had stayed at seven months earlier, when we'd travelled down for our father's funeral. Why ruin a good thing once it's a 3-4 star place? They should be working toward 5 stars instead of resting on their laurels. Maybe the focus is on a new branch, and they're trusting staff to keep standards up instead of checking on them. I hope the owner or owners see this account before things really fall apart.

The rooms were more spacious than I expected, and once inside I liked the mix of comfort, affordability, and quiet. It's tucked into a peaceful part of Ikeja near Allen, and the staff are welcoming. Small, quaint, and fairly comfy if all you need is a bed and you don't care much about breakfast. Breakfast is the drawback. It's only for one person, so if you come with a partner, OYO. The choices are bare, there's not much variety, and the portions aren't even ample for one person. I'm not a heavy eater either. See the attached photos. For me, 4 stars is too generous, but 3 feels harsh. I'd give it 3.5.

A beautiful hotel, with good service.

The staff are professional, friendly, and quick to respond. I feel it's worth every penny, and next time I'm in town, I don't want to stay anywhere else.
