Getting around was convenient since the place is on busy Ikorodu Road, with public transport easy to reach. The rooms were okay and inexpensive, but the low price didn’t make up for the missing basics and poor service. Water kept being unavailable when I returned to shower, so I had to ask staff to pump it and wait at least half an hour. I also spent each evening waiting for power to return so I could use the fan. The electricity went off in the mornings too, though I couldn’t tell if it was an outage or if they switched it off to save money. Breakfast isn’t free anymore. I had a shirt laundered, and it came back stained, with the mark still there after a second wash.

I was stranded in Lagos overnight after an interview and used Google Maps to find this place. I called and asked if I could come over. When I arrived, the rooms I could afford were already taken, but the management let me have a more expensive room for the price I could pay. I was really grateful for their generosity, accommodation, and hospitality.
