The best part for me is how attentive the staff are. They communicate well and notice the details, and management seems focused on guests' comfort and peace. I especially missed Isaac the Porter when I left. He's calm, always smiling and ready to help, opens the door, and takes his job seriously. His uniform and shoes are always clean and polished, and he is never late. The cleaners are just as impressive, keeping the room spotless, fresh-smelling and neatly made up, with a bed you want to lie in all day, even when you're meant to be out for #dettydecember. I first stayed here three years ago and came back this year. The standard hasn't slipped, it has actually improved. Everyone seems to run their department well, and the management is doing a great job. After hours in Lagos traffic, a woman welcomed me with a cold glass of juice that helped settle my nerves. Breakfast is always my favorite, with lots of freshly made choices. The place feels like home away from home, luxurious, quiet, peaceful and welcoming. Coming from abroad, I got better service here in Nigeria than in the US. This boutique hotel can make you feel like you're not in Nigeria. Whatever Isglo is doing, please keep it up. I really appreciate the hospitality.

The one drawback was breakfast, which didn't have much choice. Sort that out and they'd deserve 10 stars. Otherwise, the beds were soft and clean, even for a picky person like me, and the service was great. The staff felt welcoming, especially Precious. Housekeeping did a good job too, cleaning carefully into every corner. I'd recommend it.

For business around ikoyi, this is a handy option since you can get into town easily. The hotel is quiet and pleasant, the meals are amazing, and the service is good throughout.

The rooms are stylishly furnished, and the conference room is well equipped and can be tailored to your needs. I also loved the food, the chef got it right, with ingredients in the right portions. It feels affordable while still being luxurious. The whole place looks great in photos and videos, whether for personal or business content. It’s peaceful inside and out, with no unnecessary noise. I'd rate the serenity 9.5/10. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the customer service is so good you’ll want to refer people, or move in permanently. You're likely to leave satisfied.

The standard rooms are compact, with space mainly around the bed. There’s a tabletop beneath the TV, but it sits too high to use comfortably with the only chair. The bathroom is small, with a toilet and shower. The TV is about 40 inches, the air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was strong. Meals were tasty and nicely presented, though they took about 40 minutes. The service staff were polite and helpful. It's a cozy, compact hotel that feels like an upscale hideaway for well-off Ikoyi residents. The setting is quiet and serene, and perhaps deliberately hard to spot. With barely any visible sign outside, you might need Maps to find it. Space is used cleverly: despite parking for no more than eight cars, there are plenty of rooms and a decent-sized pool. They seem to rely on returning regulars, and that makes sense. The restaurant includes the bar and a narrow glass-walled corridor alongside the pool. A good fit for someone looking for a quiet place to escape, work or rest.
