Sheraton Lagos Hotel

The live singers in the background were fantastic. I went for the lunch buffet and really enjoyed the food, especially the jollof and salad. They also cooked okro live at my request.

We held a wedding at Balmoral hall on January 2nd, and it was a beautiful event. The main problem was that our guests were kept waiting outside for hours. KWAM1 (king Wasiu Ayinde Marshall the first) had been using the hall overnight and didn't put down the microphone until 6am. That threw off our plans, including the decor, because the decorators weren't allowed in early enough to set up.

I came to install a LED Sign inside the hotel, so I didn't stay there myself. The outside area seemed cool and calm, a good place to chill. I can't say anything about the management or customer service.

I was told to leave the hotel without getting a personal notice, an incident report, or an explanation of what policy I was supposed to have broken. When I asked for written clarification and supporting documents, nothing was given. Staff on site said they didn't know anything about the alleged incident at the time. Even after I formally requested an explanation in writing, I was still asked to vacate without due process. Referring to an “incident” without documentation raises serious concerns for me about transparency, guest rights, and procedural fairness, especially given the potential reputational impact. I've escalated this through official corporate channels and hope it receives an appropriate review.
