White Court View Hotel

We went this weekend and couldn't get a seat for the evening open air entertainment. I've stayed here several times, though, and it's a lovely place for a family stay. The evenings are really special.

There wasn't any running water in my room, so I couldn't even bathe. Some staff had to bring water in buckets. When I told the supervisor I was waiting for the water, she rudely gave me five minutes to check out. I had gone to drop off a friend, and by the time I returned, the hotel had already checked me out. I'm completely disappointed with this facility. The hotel is awful, the staff are rude, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially anyone coming from abroad.

I went mainly to eat and have a few drinks, after a friend recommended the place. The egusi soup was okay, but the goat meat was the best part and I really enjoyed it. The bar attendant was patient and very nice. The views were great, and the loud entertainment made it exciting and fun. They nearly evicted me for taking pictures, and I still don't understand why.

My room was clean, but the lights flickered all night, and so did the AC. There was no hot water at first, and I had to wait a long time in the shower for it to come on. Even my non-smoking room smelled like a chimney. The outside looks nice, but inside it was a horrible nightmare. The receptionist, a chubby light skin woman, was very unprofessional. She spent a lot of time on her phone ignoring me instead of doing her job. After all the customer complaints, I wonder why she's still at the front desk. Maybe someone in top management is looking out for her. This place is a rip-off and needs a complete overhaul, especially customer service, which I'd score zero. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a homely environment. It seems the previous guest enjoyed their pound of weed here without any problem.
