Zaaz Hotel

The bed was pretty comfortable, and I was surprised that the shower, heater, and even the wonky washbowl all worked. The bathroom itself wasn't in a state I liked, and the basic wardrobe looked ready to fall apart. Still, for what you pay, it's good value and the facilities are commendable for this kind of hotel. If I could afford somewhere better, I wouldn't choose this place.

The staff were great, and the location puts you right in the middle of everything, but I wasn't a fan of the dated rooms or the bathrooms. The windows aren't great either, so you hear a lot. Meh, not my favorite place. I'd rather pay more for a higher-end hotel, and I wouldn't come back for two nights.

There's a pool and conference hall, but the rooms and room service are poor, and the parking area is small. Renovations are happening right now, with lots of changes, and it's supposed to open fully next month, October.

I stayed just two hours, with no electricity for half that time. It was late, or I'd have gone elsewhere and let them keep the money. The bathrooms were in terrible shape, there were cockroaches in the rooms, and the beds were bad, among other problems. It's a junkyard of a hotel and the worst I've seen. They should close it. Avoid this terrible place.
