Jotani Living

I spent New Year's here and don't regret it at all, even though the fireworks around the island were too annoying. It's lovely, really low-key, and in a quiet area. They also have a proper restaurant and kitchen with lovely food. 10/10.

The setting is peaceful, and the apartment has the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Their English breakfast was nice too. Gosh, Jotani Living has the most comfortable apartment ever.

My guest had to switch apartments twice, and each move seemed to make things worse. The Manager graciously upgraded her, but the spare bedroom in that apartment had a smell that wouldn't go away, and the pillows were really bad. The food was decent but a bit overpriced. The rooms were clean, at least, but the service needs to improve, and we didn't feel we got value for the 14 nights. I booked for a friend visiting Nigeria for the second time after more than a decade. Even though I made the reservation plans at least 30 days ahead, check-in was stressful. The staff were pleasant and keen to help, but often seemed distracted. They could use proper training and process guidelines.

When we're on the island for event work and can't get back to the mainland, we often stay in apartments, and Jotani Living is one of our favorites. It's in lekki phase 1 and has comfortable one- and two-bedroom apartments, with friendly staff and management. I'd feel at home there for either a short or long stay. They also have a pool, so bring your swimsuits.
